A diverse group of naive gap year students are thrown into the emotional journey of animal rescue and rehabilitation as they become AVA’s- Animals Volunteers Abroad: The Australian Adventure.

 

Featuring a broad range of  Australian animals at our own rescue centres and sanctuaries around Australia and our Territorial Islands, we witness firsthand the journey of a group of young and unsuspecting AVA’s-Animal Volunteers Abroad: The Australia Adventure.

Embarking on a life changing experience, each participant will face their weaknesses and find their strengths, to do the sometimes unthinkable and even the impossible, as they get dirty caring for some of the most unique and even dangerous animals on earth.

 

From a myriad of demographics, we send them to a mystery destination somewhere around Australia to get down and dirty volunteering in an animal sanctuary with no time to prepare for the climate or cultural differences- or even the type of animals that they will be caring for, to do the impossible and sometimes unthinkable, as one by one, they discover themselves and their purpose in life.
